Came here for the first time yesterday expecting classic mediterranean food. Not what I expected - but better. The decor was very nice and we were seated immediately. The wheat bread they brought us was heavenly. Warm, toasty bread to dip in EVOO. YUM!
We took advantage of the price fixe menu, which was an excellent deal. I had the smoked salmon & bagel appetizer, lamb chops for the entree, and walnut pie for dessert. My girlfriend has the hummus plate for her appetizer and the same things as I had for entree and dessert. Everything was very tasty. My only complaint was the lamb chops - they still had a gamey taste to them - it wasn't overpowering but I tasted it. I ended up having to use a little A-1 sauce on them just to mask it. It was much better after that.
The service was ok. We had more than one person waiting on us, which was nice, but their attitudes were a bit off. Some of them spoke to us, some didn't. It was weird and not in a good way. Overall, I really liked this restaurant and would probably return if and when I'm back at the Cosmopolitan.
