My husband and I went on a Saturday night around 9:00pm to celebrate my birthday.
Pros: We were drawn in the by the location on the water and the well thought out decor and atmosphere. We had the 420 fries and the spaghetti and meatball. The meatball hardly had any cheese in it (menu described it as a giant molten meatball), but it was still good. Our waiter was nice and checked up on us frequently.
Cons: The hostesses were unbelievably rude. My husband and I walked in and up to the hostess stand and were ignored by the three hostesses and a waiter for 5 minutes. My husband moved closer until he was literally face to face with them. Finally, they looked up and just stared at him. He then requested a table for two to which they went back to ignoring him for a minute before we were taken to our seats. I've never experienced anything like that before. My other complaint is that the drinks were extremely weak. I ordered two $11 cocktails and my husband ordered two gin and tonics. All the drinks were very weak and watered down. I'd expect this at a cheap bar at midnight, but not when you are paying over $11 for a drink. We watched the bar tender make someone's drink and we were right, he hardly put any alcohol in the drink.
I wish we had spoken up to a manager, but never did see one around. We were trying to stay positive since it was my birthday celebration, but looking back it really was a disappointing experience.
