  • We stayed at this hotel over night and went to the Hoover Dam the next day. I wish I would of had more time to enjoy this hotel. I enjoyed the historical atmosphere of the hotel along with the historical photos throughout the hallways and lobby. The rooms were retro but not outdated and gave you the real feeling that you were staying in the hotel of the 1930s and 40s. Very clean and well maintained. The staff was excellent and very helpful despite our very late arrival. We appreciated the historical items in the room including the furniture and the books. I would love to stay at this hotel again if giving the opportunity. There is a museum on site that I did not have the opportunity to visit due to our schedule. The breakfast was very good and included with our stay. If you are visiting the Hoover Dam on your travels, this hotel is a great way to start in the middle of historical Boulder City and an easy drive to the dam. I believe that there is a historical society that helps maintain this hotel, good job and thank you. Stayed August 2014, traveled as a couple
