Not a fan of this location. Employees seem go through the motions sloppily and half-hearted. I've been to other PetSmart locations, that I'm sure get far less customer traffic than this prime Tempe spot, and those workers put far more effort into doing their jobs.
We needed a quick, easy, disposable kitty litter box (amongst other things) during this particular visit. There was only a broken one on the shelf so I found and asked a sales associate if they had any others in the back and without looking they immediately said no. You could at least pretend to look, call another store or something. I appreciate that sort of effort. Instead they offered a tiny discount on a completely broken product that probably should have been damaged out and not on the floor for sale.
Ugh, I should have just given the item back but the employees (sales associate, cashier and manager, who had to give approval) acted so put out by the simple situation that I felt obligated into purchasing the damaged item. Just disappointing.
