| - The best yoga studios reflect an owner's personality, and Seven Seeds is the perfect example. Bright, open, and welcoming, it invites you to practise yoga in a supportive, (and tasteful) environment. Here the message is simple - practise with an open heart and enjoy yourself. There's no hugging (unless you really need one) and no preaching, (no student can ever go wrong).
Sheila, the owner, is a fantastic teacher whose focus is on Hatha. She guides with clarity and humour as she takes the students through the postures, sharing her knowledge, and making subtle adjustments to suit individual needs. Not bending? Tuck your hip. Feeling stiff? Try a bolster. Need to rest? Here's an eye pillow. Have some tea when you're done, and a chocolate.
Seven Seed's other teachers are equally fabulous. Heather's brilliant Restorative classes will do just that; put you to sleep at night, and de-clutter your body for the next day. The Yin classes, where deep poses are held longer, will allow you release tension you didn't know existed.
No matter what mood I'm in upon entering the studio, I always leave feeling better than when I came. Standing a little straighter, breathing a little more freely, and moving with greater ease.
