  • IF YOU HAVE CONSIDERED USING THIS COMPANY, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT THEY ARE THE BIGGEST GROUP OF CROOKS MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE EVER SEEN. I had to put one star, but that is because they make you choose one. They don't even deserve any at all!! If you are thinking of renting, be aware that you will probably not get your deposit back at the end of the lease. The office staff is rude, inconsiderate, lying and just basically nasty. They are unprofessional and unethical. The contracts they get people to sign are long and intricate. That is okay and I did read it. But some of the tiny details buried inside were ridiculous requirements. For instance, we were expected to cut palm leaves on the tree in front of the home for a tree over 30 feet high. The company comes into your home every three months and inspects your house. If they are not satisfied with how you keep it, they send out their own people at outrageous amounts and charge the tenant for it. If you are a landlord, they don't treat you any better. If the refrigerator breaks and can't be fixed, you as a renter are required to get a new one. Same with the dishwasher, washer/dryer etc. Our water heater broke. It completely flooded the living room and the place was inhabitable for several days. We had to go to a motel and several items were destroyed. They could care less. They come up with charges for everything. We had a large deposit with them. We received back after hiring professional cleaners, about 25% which didn't even cover the cleaning. We were always good tenants and paid our rent on time. When we moved out, for instance, there was a bulk pickup coming the next day so we placed a small two drawer dresser on the street in front. RPM charged $60 to dispose of it. Are you kidding me? We also left in the house two plungers which came with the house. They charged $10 to dispose of them. Other items that came with the house we left. We were charged for them also. If you have problems they treat you with such disrespect it is impossible to convey in this review. They make things up and are cheats. I have never written a review before as no one has ever treated me like this. If you think you are getting a deal, think again. It will cost you your deposits and be charged for things that you didn't do. They will lie. They will cheat. They will not return your calls in any timely matter. They should be put out of business. They are the kind of company that gives good management companies a bad reputation. I could tell you so many bad experiences with them that it would take up several pages. Be wise and RUN FROM RPM. I wish I had known before.
