  • I was sitting at home on my day off and was thinking of things to do with my dog. I have wanted to go and take pictures ay red rock canyon or valley of fire for as long as I have lived in Vegas (4 years now). I love talKing pictures and heard both of these places are beautiful. Not wanting to go hiking in the heat to far from home I picked red rock. I packed my bag, camera and dog and looked up direction and of we went. The park entry fee is not to bad. Just remember to take cash. Also be sure to stay to your left and hit the visitor center before heading out, once you pass it there is no going back. I did not know this so I need to go back and just see what it's all about.
