  • Do yourself a favor and DO NOT choose this place to eat. Shitty food thats overpriced and horrible customer service. Ordered a steak bowl, given in penitentiary-style bowls that tasted disgusting. States it is Island Style cuisine which is nothing but a bunch of white people pretending to be Islanders. When I went to pay after making the bowl, the front register knockoff iPad crashed after sliding my card. So the staff member took my card in the back in the back to charge using that register. Who knows how many time she slid my card because it ended up charging me over and over again. I Ordered one shitty steak bowl and they charged me over and over again. Called the restaurant up to ask why and was basically told to fuck off by the 'founder' Christopher. He was so aggressive and completely blamed it on my bank even though he admitted the front register freezes up lately. He took no responsibility that this could have been his fault before putting the blame on the customer and their bank. Do not go through the headache of eating at this place. The food sucks, the staff is on another level of stupid, and the management is a nightmare. Cultural appropriation at it's finest. I recommend eating at Island Flavor on Durango. Wayy better than this piece of shit establishment. Wish I took a pic of the shitty food but have the bank statements attached! Be warned guys!
