  • I've always driven past Lamport when coasting through Liberty Village or along King West but had never had a reason to venture inside until this fall. I play Ultimate Frisbee once a week through TSSC (Toronto Sport & Social Club) and this was a far more convenient location for our team to play over some of the others around the city (St. Michael's College, Eglington Flats, etc). It's one of the oldest public stadia in the city and while that's cool, it does show, the facilities are a bit dated from what I can tell and the artificial turf could use a little better management. I'm looking forward to the winter league where they cover the entire facility with a heated dome. I heard that the newest sports team in Toronto, the Toronto Wolfpack Rugby team, plays here and that their games are an amazing time for all. Have to check it out!
