  • If you like paying to be scolded at like a small child getting scolded by a parent, this is the place for you! I was very excited to see the 2 pairs of glasses for 69.95 deal. I like that you can make an appointment online. I walked in and was checked in. The waiting room looks like the dmv. Then they had me meet the person in charge of selling the glasses. She told me her name and immediately said 'you know you aren't eligible for this deal, right?' I asked why and she rolled her eyes and told me that my prescription was too strong. I asked her why my prescription would make a difference in the cost of the 'deal'. She told me that my lenses would be too thick for the frames. She told me that I have to buy the thin lenses but that would double the price of the glasses deal. Look... I've had a strong prescription all my life and heard this before. I KNOW that the lenses will work in glasses and it will not look bad. I told her that I really wear my contacts on a daily basis and keep a pair of glasses for emergencies or lounging around at home. I really didn't care how bad it looked. She then asked if I had my current pair of glasses with me. I didn't have my glasses with me but told her that I didn't opt for the thin lenses last time either. Again with the eye rolling... she said that I probably didn't realize it but my old glasses definitely had the thinner lenses. So apparently I don't know what I bought last time? I reiterated that I didn't want to pay more than the $70 on the deal. This made her throw a tantrum and give me the silent treatment. The only thing she said to me going forward was 'Will this be credit or debit', then yelled at me for not signing the back of my card even though I was happy to give her my ID. I asked how I would know when my glasses were ready and she told me the date. I asked if I would get a call to confirm and she said no. I would have to remember and give them a call. Seems like an odd practice compared to other optical shops that I've been to. I got my glasses one week later and they look fine. I couldn't even tell that the lenses are 'chubby'. Overall, the saleswoman really ruined the whole experience for me. The clinic in back is fine and a good deal. I left there pretty upset with myself that I actually gave this establishment my money and was treated like a child. My family and I will not return again.
