This Hospital has a GRAT maternity department. I gave birth to my first baby and my experience was wonderful, the nurses were so kind they made you feel calm and they were constantly checking on you. But the E.R and the Hospital itself is not the best. I went like 5 times with a very sharp abdominal pain they did some test on my and I thanked them for that, they found out I had gallstones and that my gallbladder was super thick they told me to contact a Surgeon and make an appointment for the surgery, The surgeon that they told me to contact did not accept my insurance. I went in one last time and they kept me there for 5 hours or more even though I told them that I already knew what I had the did the same test and told me the same thing but this time They told me I had to do surgery immediately because I had stones blocking the tube and that they could get out of the tube and cause a very serious infection, They gave me pain killers and stuffs to stop the nausea EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM I DID NOT WANT ANY BECAUSE I WAS BREAST-FEEDING.They insist and told me that it won't harm the baby because it was non narcotic. They put it in though my IV. I was really upset later a Nurse came in and told me she was going to put something trough my IV. I asked what is that, she responded the Doctor already came and talk to you about this. When I said that no Doctor had come and talk to me about anything her response was. HAHA I'm sorry I must of enter the wrong room, this is not for you. After that they send me home and told me you should do an emergency surgery to prevent infection. For that reason I am super scared and I Hope I never have to go back to this hospital. They wait till you are dying to do something about your health problems. Thank GOD My family members took me to another Hospital they did the surgery with no doubt and treated me WONDERFUL.
