  • If you are interested in their Açaí bowls and fresh squeezed juices, PLEASE save yourself the $18+ and STAY AWAY. This place is absolutely terrible. For a place in a popular hotel on the Las Vegas strip, I expected at least a decent place to get some dessert. Nothing spectacular, just a convenient place for people staying there. Boy was I wrong. My biggest complaint is their customer service and their employees. I get it, you work with tourists all day. I know it's not great, I work in the service industry myself. All I expect is that you know what you're doing, but they couldn't even get that right. My better half orders first. A fresh squeezed juice off their menu. Easy right? Nope. Employee A looks over the cashier and says the item does not exist. What. We point it out on the menu hanging above her. "Oh" she says. Then she walks away and talks to Employee B. She comes back and says we don't make juices anymore. What? I ask then why do you have an entire menu dedicated to it? She leaves again. Then Employee B comes and says the juice machine has been broken for awhile. Uh, okay. How come the other employee doesn't know that? And if it's been broken, shouldn't that be disclosed when we're blatantly standing there discussing what we should order so it saves everyone time? I guess not. So my better half opts to go make a frozen yogurt cup, in the meantime I order their Tropical Acai Bowl. Employee A begins making it. I soon discover that she absolutely has no idea what she is doing. Does job training even exist anymore? I don't mind that she had to walk back and forth to an instruction sheet on the side of a machine to make this particular item. What I do mind is when I watch you put toppings into my bowl, show it to Employee B, and then SCOOP OUT SAID TOPPINGS WITH YOUR HANDS (they were gloved at least). Speechless. What the @$&#! is going on?! Employee A puts more toppings in, and Employee B then scoops those out with a spoon! This is all happening in plain sight. And it gets worse. When Employee A declares my order is ready, the first thing I notice is that it is BROWN. The blended acai mix is BROWN. I have had quite a lot of various açaí bowls at several different establishments, never the commonly seen peanut butter one, and they have ALWAYS been the color RED. You know, the color of berries? So I ask since they do have a peanut butter one on their menu. Mistakes happen, I know I'm not perfect at my job. She leaves to look at the sheet, goes to find Employee B again, and they both return. I kid you not this is word for word what happens next: B, "What's the problem?" Me, "I just wanted to confirm this is the right order because it's brown." B, "Yes this is correct" Me, "Okay, so why is it brown?" B, "When you blend acai berries it turns brown" (this is when she starts giving me major attitude). Me, "What? Acai berries are red-purple berries and they're blended with more berries for this bowl. Plus, what were you two scooping out of my bowl?" B, "Okay." Me, *puzzled look* "...What?" B, "Okay." I proceeded to look at her dumbfounded and she walked back into the side room. This entire time Employee A just stood there like a lost child. Neither of them wear name tags unfortunately as I wanted to file a complaint to management. They are both Filipino I believe, as they speak Tagalog in front of customers, which I also find a little rude. Employee A is more petite frame and Employee B was much taller stature, at least 5'8". In hindsight I really regret not taking a picture of how terrible looking my acai bowl looked. I didn't even eat it past the few pieces of fruit on top. I'll notify registration when I check out but I truly hope Blizz's management does something about their franchise being run into the ground.
