  • The Corner is making some changes and all for the good. They still have the same great management and friendly staff. Today I tried one of the many things they have planned for the restaurant. The self serve hot food bar, which is right next to the build your own salad bar, (where I have created mountainous masterpieces of salad) The cost for the hot food bar is same price as the salad bar and you'll pay by the pound after they weigh your plate of food at the cashier. See the image (number 60 on this page) of my plate which had roasted veggies, meatballs, penne pasta, garlic bread and cherry cobbler on it. I had it toward the end of the day so I think that is why the pasta was a little dry. Now the meatballs in tomato sauce were just right, the roasted veggies of zucchini, yellow squash, red and green peppers, onions, and more (I love roasted veggies) were delicious and the cherry cobbler was excellent! A friendly staff member told me they plan on having different hot dishes everyday along with expanding the choice of items on the salad bar instead of mirroring it on both sides. A special extra thumbs up for The Corner having some of the friendliest and helpful staff anywhere, and consistently so!
