If one needs to get the dreaded colonoscopy, this is the place to do it. I had all the paperwork done ahead of time and checked in before 7 a.m. I was lucky to be 3rd in line for the procedure in a room full of people. I was out at 10:30 a.m. after recovery. Patient pick-up is where your driver comes for you. I just received a call from my gastroenterologist and everything is AOK. Shout out to Cheryl, the very nice nurse who did all the preliminaries before surgery. Everyone was nice from the front desk, to Cheryl, to the anesthesiologist to the young man who wheeled me out. I don't remember seeing Dr. Faris, but then again, he was behind me (wink-wink!) I don't remember anything except getting the anesthesia and being awakened to go home.
This facility is adamant about you having a driver. They ask for the pick-up person's number and wrote down additional instructions or message to convey. I specifically wanted my husband to bring our dog. She was so happy to see me. We happily drove away with all this 'behind' me. No pun intended!
