Oh boy. This place needs help. Seeing the reviews I see i should have looked here before eating at I Love Sushi. As with any empty sushi place in Toronto around lunch time, you should turn around and leave. The only other people in the place were a young couple who relocated here from another town in Canada. The waitress was nice in the beginning, but you could tell by the way she would hang out at our table for too long that this might have been her first shift ever as a waitress. My girlfriend enjoyed her Edamame and her lunch special sushi rolls. She had no complaints other than the whacky service. My lunch, a salmon teriyaki bento box, was probably one of the worst I have ever had. The salmon actually looked frightening. To clarify, I did not say unappetizing, I said frightening. The tempura was a soggy mess. the california roll was disgusting and like no other california roll i have ever had. The salad was pretty good. The steamed rice was pretty good too!
We asked for glasses of water.
She brought one
As we were leaving and we said, "Thanks!, Bye"
She just looked at us with a blank expression and cleaned up our table.
