| - The greatest thing about living in Las Vegas is their 24 hour local diner. I woke up very early in the morning and already was craving for a wholesome meal. At the entrance of this restaurant, there is an aqua blue wooden bench, with a cartoon inspired image of pueblos, rocky mountains and cactuses. I think it's rather clever they did that, it's a creative tactic for a comical photo opp. The server that took our order is Sally, she's polite and attentive. Initially I wanted to try the Coconut Honey Chicken Waffle, but it wasn't available at the time. So I chose Chicken Fried Steak, which comes with their homemade biscuit, country gravy, veggies, and is usually served with mashed potatoes. Since they were out of mashed potatoes, Sally offered if I'd be okay with curly fries instead. I said Yes! And I am so thankful. I like the comfort food of chicken, biscuit, gravy and fries. They do give a generous portion. It's enough to share a meal and still bring home leftovers.
