| - My family member covered under my insurance had an accident in which he was not at fault. My insurance company was spectacular. They cut a check for $4,200, and we dutifully held onto it and find it directly over to Suburban Auto Body. They took close to two weeks with the car, and when my son went to pick it up, they had no idea there was a male attached to it. They thought it was just a woman as that was who the check was made out to. There was a panel missing from the body, the bumper was out of specification and not properly installed, the running lights we're not properly installed, and they tried to spray paint the old alloy rims that was damaged in the accident, rather than obtaining a new one as they itemized to the insurance company. My son went over it with calipers and accessed the alignment hole on the frame. They became angrier and more obnoxious the more he looked at the car and assessed it. In addition, it had not been aligned and they could provide no alignment report. Another itemization that wasn't done. My son had to return 3 times, on the final time when he asked for the alignment report, one of the employees after 5 p.m., ran at him with a closed fist and attempted to hit him in the face. My son ver to the side and pushed him away, the employee rolling down the hill. He got in the car and left. We now have to pay the dealership to go over the car and make sure that the work was actually done, as the cosmetic errors have been corrected, and some of the exterior mechanical work can be identified by VIN numbers, but I have no face in the safety or statement that there was no frame damage. This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had in 54 years. I assume that they lied about several things in order to make pure profit. They assumed that it was a 54 year old woman who is going to pick the car up and not know the difference! We now have out of pocket costs to pay to make sure the car is safe, an exasperated and worn out insurance company that frankly, doesn't want to deal with it anymore, and a near miss with a police report regarding the incited brawl, again I assume to discredit our complaints. My advice? STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM SUBURBAN AUTO BODY E.2OOTH ST., EUCLID / CLEVELAND AS POSSIBLE! We were blessed not to have any injuries in the accident. However we were violated at Suburban Auto Body!
