  • True Foods you are going downhill. In particular this location. I am a regular on average 5-10X per month depending on what I am feeling. To give an example of how service and food quality is declining. I show up me and my book tell the server I just want something light and quick. We discuss soup and 1/2 sandwich is possible and a drink done awesome. Soup is good, then comes out a pizza- I tell food sever I didn't order a pizza she/ probably manager looks at me confused and says what did you order. I ordered the tempeh sandwich. Ok cool I go back to reading my book. Out comes my original sever asking me why I didn't want the pizza. And I get slightly annoyed as I know what is going on. He forgot I I'm sure to just place the order for the Sandwich and long story short looks at my crazy as if I changed my mind. Ok whatever no biggie I get it and I move on... I don't take it personal perhaps it's he is new and his manager bugging him about it. Out comes my tempeh sandwich with tofu instead of tempeh. I ask what is this? Thinking they changed the menu and I missed it... ummm her reply is it's still vegan and it's tofu and we don't have tempeh right now. Really?!?! 1. I'm not 100% vegan and 2. I know what tofu is but whatever. 3. In my head why didn't he tell me this when he placed order 4. Whatever in my head I am saying and I am moving on again. I take 1 bite of sandwhich and it tastes like crap. Literally I make tofu soup, stirfrys etc at home and this was no bueno. Here is the annoying part... no one said we messed up ever. She apologized but after the fact I had to get up and ask why is there tofu instead of tempeh. Waste of $ and time is what this equated to. True foods better step up their game as other restaurants are popping up that offer better food and they will loose customers. Probably will not be coming to this location again for a minute just based of service. Food is whatever s*** happens. I'm no-self entitled jerk but with my kindness and humility they still treated me like crap. Try True Foods but if the service is sub par don't say I didn't warn you
