Not sure if this is for the Macy's location or the Nordstrom one. But my review is for a girl at the Nordstrom Mac counter. I don't catch her name, maybe it started with an R? I used to live here and would visit this counter all the time and never had an issue. Well I went with my recyclables to get a free lipstick and didn't have the same wonderful experience I usually do have. She seemed new and didn't know her colors. I said I wanted something in the nude family maybe with a little coral for spring. She showed me a stand with a few nudes on it. I said I don't want matte. So the first color she picked up I tried and it looked like I had chapstick on, no color at all compared to my skin tone. The second one she gave me to try was a matte. I tried to anyway and didn't care for it. After that she asked her Co worker to help her (who was assisting another customer) and I overheard her tell her Co worker in a snarky tone that "we are very limited".... She meant our options were limited as I was being picky. Since when we are ever limited with the endless mac colors?? After that I told her I would look myself and then she told me to go to the pro store as they can assist me better. I will not be back to this Mac counter. Please give better training and have your employees treat customers a bit nicer. I ended up going to the pro store at town square and the girl picked three great colors for me! I went with cream in your coffee!
