I love the enthusiasm of the local scene in Phoenix and every time I go back, I have the privilege of visiting a recently opened spot. This place is casual, but solid. Very informal lay out- the cooks are in the corner next to the oven. We tried the wings and I can honestly say they are among the top five I have ever tasted. Not super oily, but with just enough spice to make you drool. The pizza (duh) is excellent. It is more of thin crust style, but I still wouldn't call it neopolitan. The bottom of the crust has that slightly burned but not overcooked quality. It adds another element of flavor to an already very good pizza. The sauce is not overly sweet, the cheese is just right. The basil leaves on the margarita are fresh and crisp. They do deals here with wine and beer and I would recommend taking advantage of a drink special and sharing some quality pizza with good pals.
