  • I am giving this place one star only because the veterinarian Dr. Begay was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The staff I would have slapped if I wasn't such a wreck worried about my cat. This is not my first experience with this vet, my last few encounters with another very sweet cat and another time with my dog was absolutely unpleasant. I decided to give them another try because of their high recommendations. There are bad impressions and then there are 1st pet vet impressions. The staff was totally unwilling to listen or give any consideration to my very angry unfriendly cat. I let them know ahead of time to protect themselves but also show kindness because my kitty only likes me. They proceeded in the few hours we were there to let my cat jump off the table and fall on his face, twice, get so stressed running from them he lost a nail and when I told them they looked at a different toe that was stubbed a few days prior and told me it wasn't their issue it was old blood, totally looking at the wrong toe, then they jabbed him with a needle without holding him down getting the sedative all over him and the floor and loosing the needle in the process. The one blonde tech was so rude she expressed her deep frustration with us and my kitty multiple times while we were in the room. I don't think they also can realize that we can hear them through the door Too when they are talking sh*t about my cat trying to pawn off his x-ray on other techs and expressing deep frustration to be the selected participant. After three sedatives they took him back and a few minutes later another tech came out to let me know that I was the problem and kitty was fine without me and instructed me to leave the room next time. My brother asked "are you sure it wasn't the three sedatives you gave him?" He ignored the comment. After everything the bill was absolutely horrendous but it's an emergency vet so I get it they will bend you over backwards without lube. The super b**chy tech came back in and told me to come back for weekly visits on Tuesdays or Thursday's. I told her I would look around for a regular vet to which she reprimanded me that they were in fact a normal vet and took regular appointments and where I should schedule. I was like noooooooooooo thanks. Never ever again.
