  • So the actual pool and the facility wasn't bad. I thought the kids play area was neat and the slides were cool for bigger kids/adults. My issue was with how crowded this place got shortly after opening and the fact that if you don't get there early you can't even get a chair and the chairs we got we had to drag over to one crowded spot under a tarp. Las Vegas gets over 105 in the summer and your telling me you can't offer tables with umbrellas or a few extra shaded seating areas with additional chairs? I would rather pay a couple extra dollars for that option, but maybe the fact that the entry cost is so low is why that isn't an option and the reason that it draws the crowds it does. The pool crowd had some riff raff although for the most part people were friendly. I felt like we were all in the pool stuffed in like sardines in a can, you could hardly move without bumping into someone else, getting splashed in the face by some over aggressive kid or getting kicked by the random swimming underneath you. It made for stressful swim experience. Long story short, we won't return... And given the numbers this pool draws, like MAX capacity, fire hazard numbers, we won't be missed and that's okay. And by the way, it's hot as hell out here in the desert, please explain to me WHY the indoor pool is lap swim only on weekends and closes completely at 2pm? How does that make any sense? Anyways, on to the next, I'd rather pay a few extra dollars to avoid the mosh pit pool and stifling heat with no covered seating.
