| - I spent about three hours here with my significant other this past weekend, as our first real date with me flying in from the U.S. for my first ever trip to Canada. We had a really wonderful time, and it definitely set a great tone for the rest of our time together.
We went specifically because of the Pompeii exhibit that is currently up, and were not disappointed. There was a ton of stuff to look at, although she made a comment that it would have been nice if things were timelined a bit better. There wasn't a lot of flow to the exhibit, it did feel a bit random, but there were certainly a lot of things to do and see, so it's a pretty minor complaint.
The rest of the museum was great too. I really liked the Korean history section, and she fell in love with an owl that we got to touch and learn all about, from a very friendly handler that you could tell was passionate about his work.
Tickets felt a bit expensive with the addition of the Pompeii exhibit, but we were definitely exhausted by the time we walked back to our hotel, so that's a good sign we got our money's worth.
