I do my best to alert a business when there is an issue. I sent a very detailed letter outlining our concerns and did not hear a single word from any one at LL! Once we purchased the dress and it arrived at the store we went in for the first fitting. The gal doing the pinning gave us the impression that she would be doing the sewing - that was the wrong impression! We were given an amount for the alterations which also turned out to be wrong! When presented with the final alterations bill it was more than double what we had been quoted - yes, double! When we tried to pay the alterationist (subcontracted and not the gal who did the pinning) through the store we were told emphatically - NO! Daughter had to come back another day with a check. Customer service seems to stop as soon as the dress has been ordered. What a sad way to run a business!
