| - This review is for the purchase of a new car.
Buying a new car is often a stressful experience - you have to negotiate a good price, you're not sure what options you want, the color combo you prefer would need to be ordered (do you want to wait?), and so on ad infinitum. Right Honda salesperson Adrien (who doubles as their Internet sales manager) didn't remove these stresses, but he reduced them.
I had already decided I wanted a 2017 CR V, which at that time was a new model. They only had one or two on the lot with the trim package I had settled on. But they had one on order in my colors. But it was not due for over a month. I decided to wait. More stress.
Adrien did the little things that helped, starting with being knowledgeable about the options, honest about the wait time, helpful but not pushy, open about pricing (I had shopped on the Internet and got my price with just one offer-counteroffer cycle), and laid back on the test drive. He also kept in touch as he followed my car through the schedule-build-deliver cycle, and when I picked it up, gave me a really expert walk through of the various new features.
For buying a new car, this is "as good as it gets.".
PS: Other salespeople were not always so helpful. When I came in and asked to see Adrien, one went out of her way to find him, while another time, one said "he's around here somewhere" and that was it. It might be a good idea to call first and make an appointment with Adrien.
