The sales person was very kind and helpful. They gave me a rate for a car loan, and said they couldn't do any better. I shopped around, came back and all of a sudden, they could beat that rate. I ended up buying a Kia Sportage, because the rate did end up being very good. A week after buying the vehicle, the check engine light came on. Luckily it was still under Kia's manufacturer warranty, so it did not cost anything. Apparently, the Hertz limited warranty did not cover the accelerator sensor, and they did not cover the cost of a rental car. A Hertz company couldn't cover a rental car for a week after their car had a check engine light on after one week? That was very disappointing.
