  • So I preregistered online for the emergency room and even got here about 30 minutes before that time. It is now 3 hours later and the only thing that has been done, was I was triaged and then sent back out into the lobby. I asked the person at the window after 2 hours how long of a wait it would be, and was told "I'll ask the nurses." It's been another hour since then, I'm the only person in the waiting room, and don't see an end in sight. I overheard them tell another patient that even if they left, they would still be charged because triage has already been done. This is ridiculous and there is no reason that an emergency room with less than 5 patients at 3:30 pm should still have a patient waiting to be seen at 6:4Never again. Well at 7:30 I was finally brought to the back where I waited another 3 hours before I was told that I would need to be transferred to another hospital. I ended up wasting about 8 hours of my time just to be told that they couldn't help me. So I was transported by ambulance to a much better facility at St. Joseph's. I will say, once again, I will never set foot in this facility again.
