  • Being a first time dog owner who treats their dog better than a human child, Spartan goes above and beyond to make sure my dog Cookie, as well as myself, are well taken care of! We tend to visit Dr Mike every 2-3 weeks with a new "issue". We had a fractured growth plate at 4 mo old, and when you see your little baby fall over and unable to walk, panic is an understatement. Dr Mike and our favorite VT Tammi, took their time and were very efficient in figuring out the issue. Cookie got a pretty cast and recovered nicely! I have been to numerous vets when I travel to New York, and none come close to Spartan. They make every appt very personable and make sure the pet is as comfortable as possible before doing anything. They make sure you leave every visit with all questions answered, and all worries treated. I have to mention their invoices. They are so detailed and the "Reminders" section at the bottom is awesome for letting you know when you need to make appts for shots! PS if you have an exotic animal or reptile, they are so knowledgable on treating all different animals! I have seen a kangaroo, ant eater, and alligator.
