| - So my friends were RAVING about this place so I decided to try it out. Nothing to lose, since I have a 2 week trial period and a free personal training session. The "personal training" consisted of tests that just told me that I had good cardio endurance... I could've told him that, I'm a runner. He also spent most of the time trying to sell me this metabolic test for 130$, and that they couldn't design a program for me without this. Well, none of my friends ever went through this. So the personal training was a complete waste of time. I work out during the peak time, since my work ends at 4. No difference in crowd. Parking was a pain, because it is much smaller than lvac's parking lot. And it was CROWDED! Yes it's also crowded at lvac but there's a women's gym with a lot less people. The weight section has no labels on the ceiling, so I was wandering around most of the time looking for machines. The big area for functional training was awesome on a Sunday, but right after work on a weekday there's barely any room to do anything because they hold some classes there. So after a few days I decided to cancel and get my refund, mostly because unlike my stay at home friends, I won't have time to utilize all the great amenities they offer. When I gave the guy my reason, he rudely asked, "then why did you try it out in the first place?" Duh, it was to TRY IT OUT. And then I realized it wasn't a fit!! Now I'm worried about getting my refund. I've read horrible stories about that. And don't let the front desk guys in suits fool you (suits in the gym? Really?) The staff is cocky, rude, and somehow feel entitled. Not for me, sorry. One star because it's pretty, and the salon did a great job on my eyelashes. I should give the salon 5 stars.
