There needs to be an option for no or negative stars. I only created an account on Yelp so I can warn the public about this place. It's a joke. There could be 20 people in the waiting room and you'll wait at least 2 hours to be seen. There could be no one else in the waiting room but you and you'll wait at least 2 hours to be seen. It's an urgent care. Operative word being urgent. There isn't one thing about this place that is urgent. Not your wait times. Not your medical condition. Not the attitude or actions of the staff here.
The doctors here are jerks, for lack of a better word. ***There is a nurse practitioner here who is absolutely amazing. Her name is Delana. Most nurse practitioners come straight from the heavens based on my personal experiences.*** These doctors though, omg. Bedside manner isn't even a concept to them. They could care less what is actually wrong with you. They really only need to know what prescription meds you want. You could have a sprained ankle and they'll screen you for strep. Weird, right? If the strep comes back negative they'll prescribe you antibiotics and/or pain meds. It doesn't matter what ails you this is their routine approach.
The worst thing about this place is that I was left feeling duped, angry, and helpless. I met the doctor who owns the business and he seemed legit. Like he practices medicine to help people and he started MyDrNow because he had a great concept of a practice to execute his desire. But after repeated visits (because they were the only ones open and they were close) and having the same experience over and over again it's impossible for me to believe that he really gives a damn about helping anyone. To continue to run your practice this way and pretend to be completely oblivious to the issues it has makes you worthy of losing everything you invested into this disgrace of a medical practice.
Check on the medical sanctions against some of these physicians employed here. Take heed to the bad reviews you find about this place. Know that the bad reviews have more truth to them than the good ones left by the paid trolls do. If you have to subject yourself to the foolery that is this "urgent care" it's most likely because you're in severe pain or discomfort and desperate. Take note of the crappy experience and spread the word. Don't enable these bad business practices by letting them bill your insurance and taking your copay.
