| - Really enjoyed our stay at the Augustus Tower. We had a nice high room with a view of the Bellagio fountain. That view was such a pleasure at night and even during the day when we were resting between excursions. Room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds, a sitting area near the window, and a small dining table that came in handy since we brought food back to the room a few times. Bathroom was big, with jetted tub, walk-in shower, and fortunately the toilet had its own separate room. For being a newer addition to the hotel, I will say that you do notice some slight wear and tear (like a small rip in the wallpaper on window sill and ceiling), but considering possible party crowds in rooms over the years, it's held up very well and still has a luxe feeling to it.
Loved the location of the Augustus Tower. Never had to walk through the casino to get to the Strip, pool, front desk, or buffet. This was a huge plus since we had our young school age kids along on this trip. Also, Starbucks was near the ground floor elevator, so convenient for a coffee fix on the way out each morning.
Regarding hotel being family friendly, we had no issues at all taking our kids around. We never felt unwelcome anywhere on the property, even at the pool.
Front desk staff was nice and professional. (Common knowledge, folks, that if you treat people well, they tend to treat you well. It pays to be friendly, especially to those handling your room arrangements.) The staff kept the line going and did a good job combating people who had a tendency to "casually cut" in front of others, making them return to their original place in line. (Thank you for that, Caesars!)
All in all, great 3 night stay! Would definitely return with or without the kids. 4 Stars.
