  • Figaro hairstylists are the world class professionals and Art Director Elena is a world championship finalist, and has won numerous awards at Canadian and international competitions. May sound like I'm bragging, and yes, I am :-) I've been fortunate to be Elena's client for many years and I always leave salon with a happy smile, looking and feeling younger and more beautiful. Today I had another happy visit. I asked for something we did last year, but instead Elena offered a new colouring technique - and OMG, it looks fantastic! I'm often complimented on my hair style and color and it really looks great. I visit salon every 8 weeks and the style and colour look beautiful even 8 weeks later, which I attribute to great products they use and Elena's professionalism. Once I had to reschedule my appointment and instead of 8 weeks it was 11. The color still looked great, which I find pretty amazing. Important tip: always book in advance, as they are very popular (and thus very busy) - especially if you need an evening or Saturday time, and especially around Holidays. I can only come evenings, so I usually book several appointments in advance so that I don't have to worry about it for a few months. If you don't like to book in advance and prefer casual walk-in, this place is probably not for you. The atmosphere in the salon is very nice and friendly. They offer you tea or coffee while you are waiting for color to set. You can also do your nails while you are waiting. Terry is a professional nail artist, he is very good at what he does and the prices are great. Hope this was useful. Happy hair styling!
