  • Keats Connelly has done my taxes for two years in a row now and each year it seems to get worse. Like the other reviewer, I experienced constant delays. My taxes were supposed to be completed in April, but were finally prepared in September (despite all assurances we would file on time). To add to this, their billing is out of control. My first year I was charged $2500 for a Canada/US return that also involved two different states. This was at the top end of the estimate (2k-2.5k). Though expensive, I was prepared for this. For the recent tax year, I was charged $4,000. This tax return was easier than the previous year and only had one state to file in. I was told that certain 'discounts' were no longer given to me. Clearly upset about being charged $4,000, I pushed to get more information and the hour logs. Eventually I was given the breakdown, but the cost is still not justified. I asked for a senior partner to get in touch with me and received no response. Beware of Keats Conney (also dba Cross-Border Tax & Accounting).
