  • I called the shop and the girl at the counter told me they have a rebuilt 9" 3rd member for $350. I went there the next day to buy this, it looked used not rebuilt, but I took it anyway. When I got home and put it in my car the yoke did not fit correctly. I called them up and said they would give me the correct one. I pulled the yoke off to find the pinion seal was an old one and full of gunk, at this point I knew it was never rebuilt. When I went there to exchange the yoke I asked her if this was rebuilt, she said no it is used, rebuilt ones go for about $550. I called the day before and asked her if that was rebuilt because I was pricing used ones at junkyards all morning, those only went for $150.00. I figured for another $200.00 I might as well get a rebuilt one. Why would I knowingly pay an extra $200.00 more for a used product. I already got ripped off by another shop 2 days earlier. Does anyone do what they advertise anymore?
