| - Dined at Revolution on Monday evening. I had found a Groupon that was a steal, $27 for $50 worth of food/drink. Since I had out of town guests visiting I figured this would be a perfect pizza treat! Unfortunately our experience left a lot to be desired. The place was absolutely dead for dinner time. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, I have no complaints about the service. We were sad to find the restaurant was out of what felt like a lot of ingredients: beer cheese & bacon. Our main issue was with the quality of the food ordered We ordered an app of fried pickles which were cut super thin, and over fried, they were crunchy and greasy in a very unappealing way. The garlic knots we ordered, instead of the beer cheese, were good, never had them bad here. The 3 small pizzas we ordered however were awful. Only one was cooked properly, the other two were still doughy in the center, and all three had so much cheese on them that grease from it pooled up on the surface of the pizza. I get it, pizza's a great food, but you could have swam in these pools! The four of us only ate a piece each before asking for to go boxes. Neither couple in the party wanted the oily leftovers (basically our whole meal still), so we tossed what we were forced to go home with soon after.
I'd been to this location several months ago and thought the food was great! I hope Revolution will hear my whoas and better their products to drive in more customers!!!
