  • This is a bittersweet review. The Villas @ Desert Pointe was the first apartment complex I moved in. I've lived here since Dec 2013, Marie and the original management team, were awesome , very wonderful people. I completed a 15 month lease here, that ended in MAR 2015, and decided to renew the lease and upside to a bigger bedroom. The apartments were sold and now they are called "Westland Villas." This new management team, have attitudes, are jerks and the maintenance guys are so creepy and careless, they don't even wear uniforms. Long story short, it's been a 4 month long nightmare. A pipe burst in my bathroom, adjacent to my neighbor's apartment - and I've been flooded with pest. Roaches are every FREAKING where, they claim to spray once a week, but they are doing an extremely poor job. I refuse to use the guest bathroom there are roaches practically piled on the back of the door. They won't even allow me to move from my apartment, and last week I seen a mouse. Before my neighbor moved in, I'd never had a pest issue. The regional manager even said it herself the neighbor has been calling in every week for pest issues. The regional manager suggested that I don't enlist help from a professional and said it'll interfere with chemicals used by their own pest control. I am so sick of them, I am planning to break my lease, file a complaint with Better Business Bureau and i'm contacting the health department.
