  • I tried this soul food restaurant today with high hopes of some delicious home cooking style Soul food. I got a to go order with a Good old 10 piece of fried chicken, corn bread and some rice and gravy... Sounds delicious right? Well, let me tell you, after waiting 25 minutes for my food, I stood up from my seat and peered into the open kitchen to see if there was any hope of my food coming any time soon, just in time to see my rice and gravy come out of the microwave!!! Not only that, but they put the Styrofoam take out container directly in the microwave! Anyone that knows anything about Styrofoam knows that it is hazardous to the food to put it in the microwave.. I won't get into the details, Google it for details. Another 5 minutes and my food was hand delivered to me in the dinning room. I drove the 4 minutes home, and realized then that they didn't even give me the corn bread I paid an extra $2.50 for, as it "didn't come with the 10 piece chicken"... The only saving grace whatsoever is that the chicken itself was pretty good. But I would never go back here.. And I would certainly not suggest anyone else venture in.
