| - Thank you so much Dr. Bound and staff for helping my 1.5 year old daughter and I out with our very first (hopefully last) object in the nose encounter .
This would be the second time my baby Rikki girl stuck a bead in her nose... the first one my husband and I were able to get out ourselves, as it was still at the very opening of her nose. Then... the second time we were not so lucky.
I read and read online what I could do or should do and that is what led me to the wonderful office of Dr. Bound. I called immediately and I was able to get squeezed in the schedule the following day... thank, God.
I showed up to the location 15 minutes early, easy to find, plenty of parking. When I stepped into the office, I was then greeted by two smiling ladies behind the desk. I was signed in, sat down for 2.5 seconds before we were called into the room. The room was clean and well organized, the nurse was very polite and professional. She gave me the run down of what I was to expect before the Dr. Came in. As she set up, my daughter watched in curiosity and the nurse spoke to her very gently and friendly, making both my daughter and I feel at ease.
Dr. Bound came in about 5 minute later, very professional, friendly and polite! My daughter was not anxious or antsy as usual when ever we visit a doctors office. Dr. Bound made her feel comfortable and even made some silly gestures to help Rikki relax while he took a look in her nose. IT WORKED! Lol Rikki let him scope out her nose with no fuss!
Once he was done looking, he explained to the nurse what tools he needed, he also explained to me what he was going to need me to do (hold her legs down to prevent her from moving while he went in her nose with a tiny hook looking thing) and so it began, my daughter freaked once she knew what we were going to do... Rikki wriggled and kicked and screamed and cried. Dr. Bound did an awesome job at being calm, professional and steady through all of it! This procedure LITERALLY took no more than 30 seconds and we were walking out of the office by then! I was so happy it was that quick and easy. So happy Dr. Bound helped me and my baby. So happy with my experience with the staff! It was a lot easier and faster than I anticipated! I was even out of there before my appointment time! It was just an overall pleasant experience for me. I couldn't be happier with the office! Thank you for everything Biltmore ENT!
If Rikki ever decides to put foreign objects in her ears or nose (knock on wood), this will definitely be the first place that comes to mind!
