  • This will be a detailed review. For around $8,500 to purchase and install a Trane A/C condenser, Trane Furnace and Trane Fan Blower, I feel like that's ok. On September 6th 2017 On The Spot Air came out to my residence and inspected my completely broken AC unit. This was after another HVAC company came out the week before because the evaporator coil pan was leaking, they said they would call me back, still waiting. After a lengthy discussion with On the Spot Air employee 'French' on September 6th (great technician) he basically said I'd be throwing away approx. 4K on repairing an 11 year old contractor installed & grade HVAC system and still have an 11 year old a/c condenser with a blower motor/fan, squirrel cage and evaporator coil. In the long term it would better to replace everything. I was convinced and he called the sales person. Later that day the "salesman" Randy who is actually the owner came to my residence. His HVAC knowledge was on par with French's (That doesn't happen often with owners of companies.). He explained everything in layman's terms to a non-HVAC person. I only wanted a Trane or Carrier HVAC system. Randy's company was authorized to install Trane and I was sold. On September 7th, 2017 (Yes, the next day :) three On The Spot Air employees came to my residence in the morning as agreed in the contract with Randy. They started by putting dropcloth down from the garage door all the way to the AC unit in the hallway, classy. Installation took all day and in between I bought them lunch. They explained what they doing and didn't mine me asking a lot of questions. At the end of the installation they went over a checklist with me and showed me how to use the new thermostat they installed. I gave them a nice tip for all the hard work. We all know or should know HVAC is not "Plug and Play" equipment there is a lot of custom made material. There was a slight "hiccup" along the way even with quality craftsmanship, it happens. I say this ONLY because I wouldn't be able to mention the amazing customer service Randy (the owner) and his employees provided. I would definitely recommend this company because of the equipment he is authorized to install and the owner actually understands it's the principle of the matter that makes customers happy.
