DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET PITTSBURG AIRPORT!
Last October we rented a vehicle from Budget for a trip we took, they gave us a small jeep suv and we headed to Dubois. On the way we noticed the tires were quite noisy and we attributed it to the fact it is a small SUV and a jeep brand. When we arrived at our hotel I head the distinct noise of a nail in the tire but when I checked it was a large bolt embedded in one of the rear tires. We called to see if they could exchange the vehicle and they said we'd have to drive to the nearest location which was at another airport about 3 hours away. The next day we drove there and exchanged the vehicle asking them to put a note on the exchange paperwork that we received the vehicle with the bolt in the tire. The fellow said he would not to worry. A couple of days after we returned home from vacation my wife noticed a charge on our credit card from a company we did not recognize called BARBUSH RENTALS INC. so we called the charge into our Chase credit card and they cancelled our credit card and re-issued another one. A couple of weeks later we received a letter from Barbush Rentals inc for a tire repair fee. It turns out Barbush Rentals Inc is the franchisee for Budget Rental Cars in the Pittsburgh aiport area. We looked up the company and found a large amount of bad reviews for fraudulent charges. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CHECK BEFORE YOU BOOK IN THE PITTSBURGH AREA, they may also own Avis rental car franchises. Your chances of getting stung for extra bogus charges by Barbush Rentals Inc is very high.
