  • While I applaud the concept and often go to the IPIC when home in Scottsdale, there are some execution errors that really need to be addressed. We arrived for a 5:15p show on a Saturday night. While very pleasant, the one bartender was a bit overwhelmed. The wait was a bit longer than it should have been. And while I agree with the policy of asking for ID when serving, it makes it very inconvenient for a refill. I came out an hour into the movie to purchase wine for me and my date. However they will only sell one per person, so she had to go out separately to get her wine when I came back. As well, the bar was still crowded and there really should have been a second person working there. 8 screens at 6pm on a Saturday is more drinks than one person can handle efficiently. Also, the drinks were served in plastic and the food in paper to-go containers. Not a great presentation. So, props to the staff for being friendly and the seats for being comfortable. However, please make the experience more user friendly and worth the price.
