Vanilla serves our favorite Pittsburgh cupcake (sorry, Dozen, things just aren't the same as they were when you started out), but we have many other favorites on the menu. It might sound a bit obvious, but try their version of the "Ho-Ho" on a stick. Dark, not too sweet, perfect.
The cake is always fluffy, light, and moist. The icing is creamy and never too "sugary." Cupcakes aren't too huge and tend to pack a lot of flavor.
You'll pay dearly for the baked goods--but that works out ok for something that's an occasional treat. Of course, you do get to walk off some of the calories as you hike back to wherever you were able to find a parking space.
