This past year I sold my condo and bought a new house and realized that my taxes might be too complicated for me to handle on my own. So I did a quick search on Yelp and found George Siegel. After calling and talking to his phone service I received a call back from George in less than 10 minutes. He assured me that he was capable and confident to file my taxes so I made an appointment for the following week to meet him in his office.
After being greeted by one of the sweetest Labrador Retrievers, Maverick, who is either George's assistant or tax therapy dog, I was immediately put at ease. I unloaded a folder of W2s and random charitable deductions and the remainder of all of my documents and
George let me know I'd hear from him within a week. And true to his word a week later I received a call that everything was done.
I received an email with a link for several options for us to meet and easily scheduled my meeting. My only disappointment was that Maverick wasn't present when I went to pick up my taxes.
George not only prepared my taxes expertly he got me more money back than I ever have been able to do on my own. He's a really laid back guy but he knows what he's doing; he's got the diplomas and credentials on the wall to back him up, and he knows how to run a business. He responds quickly to messages and is very organized. Oh, and his fee is very reasonable.
I'd recommend Siegel and Company to anyone and will likely use him for my taxes every year instead of trying to do them on my own.
