So I go to this law firm since the reviews are great! The website clearly states that they do Litigation and Bankruptcy. So I make an appointment yesterday on 6/4 for 3:00 PM 6/5 (today) to discuss a very highly stressful legal matter. I arrive for my appointment and meet with the assigned attorney Troy, which by the way was very polite and helpful, and discuss all of my options and what was expected. I am ready to retain the law firm and Troy takes me to the front desk and the receptionist proceeds to tell me they are no longer doing Bankruptcies! WTF?! So in the hour I was discussing my situation with Troy, someone higher up in the firm makes the decision to just stop doing Bankruptcies! The website at this very moment still states that they do! Why would you put a potential client through the embarrassment of discussing their financial situation with a complete stranger and then tell them, IN FRONT OF OTHER CLIENTS AT THE FRONT DESK, sorry we don't do that here anymore. This was completely unprofessional and uncalled for! This type of decision, to turn your business completely in a different direction, is made without discussing or telling your staff? From the look on Troy's face he wasn't even aware! If this law firm will just change direction like this without informing the staff ahead of time, I don't think I would trust them with any legal matters!
