  • I'd been awaiting the opening of this new location for months. I've never been to the Ahwatukee location, but have heard rave reviews and have lusted after their menu for awhile. When we finally got to try this place, it was frankly disappointing. Granted, they had only been open a few weeks, so there were likely lots of kinks to work out. However, I'm not in much of a rush to go back, for fear that it will still be disappointing. It took a long time to be greeted and offered water. We then wanted to order cocktails from their drink menu, and were told they didn't have their liquor license yet. It turns out their food menu was also much smaller than the Ahwatukee one that I'd seen and been excited about. We each ordered an entree and shared an appetizer, and found all of them to be pretty unremarkable (coming from a vegetarian who loves creative meatless options. Plus they all came out at different times, and in the wrong order. And then the bill was very high for such a lackluster meal and experience. I hope this place improves, because we need more vegetarian and vegan options in the valley. I was hoping this would be my new go-to restaurant, but not so far...
