Since I lived here I've had to face construction on vacant units. The start time is 8am. The banging from the floor work over me, the drilling in the walls next to me, and the paint fumes coming into my apartment (from I don't know where.) When they're done with one unit they move to the next. As I type they're working on two at a time. It's never ending. This woke my apartment up not to meantion every neighbor I have next to me. For $998 a month you'd expect at least a note warning of upcoming construction or at least a courtesy memo of an expected date it will come to a holt . It may never finish before my lease is up in 4 months but I do have to say this: It was ALMOST pleasnt living here. Management ALMOST cared. I ALMOST received the peace I looked for when I signed my lease. My children ALMOST got rest.. I ALMOST got rest and got to sleep in from my grave yard shift. My five hours of sleep ALMOST became 8. I could ALMOST hear my tv in the morning which means I could ALMOST hear the forecast and my children could ALMOST hear their cartoons. When I received a call the other end could ALMOST hear me before the banging would resume. When the construction stoped for a couple days I ALMOST believed they were done. When the front office said "Theres nothing we can do, their start time is 8am" she could ALMOST hide the attitude in her voice and I ALMOST believed her.
