  • I went in for my first tattoo. Gold Rule set me up with Jess, I kind of bounced some ideas off of her and told her I have 0 artistic ability and to run with it. She came up with a pretty boss sketch and answered any questions I had. I then asked for a few tweaks which we talked about and then it was time to get inked up. She was really upfront about how the rib cage tattoo can hurt and what not. We worked out where to put it on the ribs and colors and all that good stuff. From there I laid down and let her go to work. We took a couple breaks here and there for her to change equipment and what not. She was super efficient, helpful, and communicative through the whole process which was cool since it was my first. It was awesome first experience and I will most definitely be back and work with Jess for tattoo #2. Jess's final score goes as follows: Sketch: 10/10 Helpfulness: 10/10 Communication 10/10 Letting you know when it's going to hurt but then forgetting to tell you: 10/10 Being sore from working out: 10/10 Ceiling view -2/10. Overall 10/10. Please don't fire her.
