| - We have come to this place many many times before for open jump.. My daughter loves coming here to jump around and play .. she loved it so much that we planned my daughters birthday party here at pump it up!
MISTAKE!!
When I went in to initially ask questions both people who were helping me out were very helpful and answered any question I had asked.( I believe Chris & Shelby).
I booked the party and confirmed everything a few day before the party.
When we arrived for our birthday party at 2pm they made us sit down and watch a video for about 5 minutes that the kids were to young to even pay attention too ( I think only 1 kid actually was able to understand what was going on) .. after the video they informed me that every child had to fill out a safety waiver .. 2 of the 3 I-Pad tablets were broken.. so we all and to stand in this huge line to sign our kids in on 1 I-Pad. Absolutely ridiculous. I payed for 30 minutes in each room for the kids to jump. But the video and signing the waivers took up our time for the first room. Kids barely had anytime In the first room. ( This should have been told to me when I booked the party so I could have everybody arrive 15 to 20 minutes early ).. I was beyond livid that I had to pay for that. Not only did they take up my time the two people working the front desk were very rude and not helpful at all. They told me that the kids couldn't jump until all of their waivers were signed , and I stated that they only have one IPad for everyone to use and that wasn't my problem, that my time should not be taken up because of that. They apologized but stated that there was nothing they could do. Once we got into the 2nd party room, the 2 people who ( we are supposed to be "tipping" to help with the party) are standing by one of the balloons just talking amongst themselves . Not attending to my kids party , not talking to the kids , not making sure all the kids are jumping safely, nothing. After they saw me talking to my mother in anger and saw me pointing at them, they immediately walked away from each other and went to actually do there job.
As they were setting up the party room the guy who was running our party came up to me and asked if boneless wings would be okay, I had told him that that was not what we ordered. He apologized and said well that's what they are making , would that be okay ? We can take the difference off your bill. I was already upset with this place that I just didn't care .. any discount on this over priced party would be worth it. We got in there , pizzas were all set up for the kids along with there Capri Suns that I had ordered . The adult Pizza were almost all eaten up , and my wings still hadn't arrived . The wings should have been ready when the pizza was ready not when we were already done eating ... as I walk over to the kids table the guy is serving the kids soda ?? Excuse me .. I didn't ask for soda and there was a reason I didn't order soda for the kids. They are not allowed to drink soda. So why is a staff member handing soda cups out to the kids when first of all that's not what I ordered and second, without asking any of the adults ?
After we ate we cut the cake sang happy birthday and ate ice cream cups. By that time they thanked us for coming and what not and basically rushed us out . We had no time to open the presents , and when we received our bill the wings had not been taken off ( we had to call and get it fixed ) .. we decided to open our presents in the main lobby since they didn't give us enough time to do so in the party room.
If I had paid , I wouldn't have tipped the party people a dime . They got lucky that their dad paid for the party , even though they didn't deserve that 60$ tip.
I do not recommend coming here for a child's birthday, super unorganized , and super rushed. I would have been better off at a park with 2 different jumping balloons and on my own time . I am super upset as to how her party turned out, lucky she is still a kid and just enjoys whatever happens.
