  • I purposely signed up and downloaded Yelp, just to post this about this poor, heartless place. Just yesterday, (4/26/2015) I've been fostering kittens for a full month, and we had just taken the full litter to the shelter we are fostering for, to be checked. Then we were sent home with eye drops and medicine to treat them with, and the one seemed to of gotten EXTREMELY worse. The shelter was closed at the time, the kitten was hardly able to breathe, and my family and I ran rabid to find who we can rush them to, and have the shelter reimburse the bill without having to pay from our pockets. (We had NO money) So I called Castle Shannon, the only 24 hour working vet, and I told them we are fostering kittens for a shelter, we have no money in our pockets, but are sure the shelter will pay for the bill the next day. The vet would not have it in that order, I'm in a panic, and before I could ask what else I can do, the receptionist just hung up on me as plain as day, and later our kitten died on us. That vet is for animals, nobody is going to have that right away money in their pocket, and if you dont, they'd prefer the animal to just die, and make it feel like your fault. This vet is cold hearted. Don't go to them, because all they want is everything but your pet's life.
