I have purchased several vehicles from this dealership over the years from the previous manager Mike Dryden. I've always had a great experience with Autonation so much that this makes the 3rd vehicle I've purchased from them. Well all that's changed with the new GM of this dealership. I purchased a Lexus GS350 two and a half months ago from a sales person by the name of Hailey. After a few days of driving the car I noticed a noise coming from the motor. I called Hailey several times and sent her multiple texts asking that she call me back. After several attempts I finally got in touch with her and explained to her that the car I purchased had a slight knock coming from the motor. She said she would have the GM Mike call me back (not the same Mike that previously managed the dealership). After a another week goes by I start trying to reach Hailey again, leaving her messages and texts. We're now about 3 weeks into the process. Once again I finally get a returned call and she tells me again she would have Mike the new GM reach out. Well guess what.. mike never calls for the 3rd time of Hailey telling me that he would. Fast forward a few weeks later and I'm driving my car which I have for 2 months now and the knocking noise gets really loud. I pull over, have the car towed to Lexus to find out the problem. Lexus confirms my worst fears. The motor in the car has failed and it's going to be 11k to replace it. I call the autonation dealership and ask to speak to Mike directly. Of course, Mike isn't available and I'm told he will call me back. The next day I received a call from Mike and explain to him what has happend to my car. Mike tells me that I bought the car as is and there's nothing he can do or help me with. I explain to him that I've been leaving messages for him for the past month and a half with no returned call. He's not sympathetic to my situation at all and repeats himself Saying there's nothing he's going to help me with and nothing he will do to help, then hung up on me. I wasn't looking for mike to offer me a new car but it would have been nice to have a manager sympathetic to my situation and offer any type of solution. Im a single father raising two kids and I purchased this car for 2 reasons. 1. It's a Lexus under 100 thousand miles and they are known for dependability.
2. I had such a great experience with this dealership with the last 2 cars I purchased.
I've never been so disappointed after purchasing a vehicle. I have a $15,000 dollar car that needs a new motor and no help from AutoNation. I will never purchased another car from AutoNation and I will tell everyone who will listen about how terrible my experience has been.
